YOUTH TEAMS REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration night for those selected for VU youth teams will be on Monday, April 19th from 7:00-8:30pm at Evangeline Middle School in New Minas. Valley United enforces a strict No Pay No Play policy, so it is important that you attend registration night in order to pay and register. Games start in early May for most youth levels.

Fees are as following:

• U12 teams - $250 (fees are increased this year in order to cover the costs of fielding the team)
• U14- Senior teams - $300 Fees include 2 pairs of socks, and a pair of shorts.

Fees also cover costs of uniforms, field rentals, referees, team equipment, SNS fee, NSSL fee.

Notes:

1. Payment options – pay in full on registration night (cash or cheque) - make two equal payments, one dated April 19th, the other June 30th
2. Late Fee - after July 1st a late fee of $25.00 will be added to the second installment if not paid
3. NSF Cheques – a fee of $25.00 will be charged to NSF cheques (cash only)
4. A $50.00 deposit cheque will be required for uniforms, dated Sept. 1st, 2010 (only cashed if uniform is not handed in at end of season)
5. NS health card is needed for registration, so bring it along.
6. If financial assistance is needed to help cover some of your registration fees, Canadian Tire Jumpstart forms are available at the following website: www.county.kings.ns.ca/pars/jumpstart.htm. They are also available at the Canadian Tire store customer service desk in New Minas. Deadlines for application are April 2nd, 2010 or June 30, 2010. The club to name on the form is Valley United Soccer Club. You can also apply to Kidsport for some financial aid. Their website is www.sportnovascotia.ca/KidSport.
7. You will need a cheque or cash of $50.00 dated April 19th, 2010 to pay for your duck tickets, our major VU fundraiser. You pay for the tickets up front, we give you the tickets, you sell them and keep the money. Simple!

At registration, we will have VU merchandise for order. We will have samples of sizes and you will be able to order gear for your player. This includes track suits, training jackets, VU kit bags and book bags among other items not provided by the club. Please have cash or a cheque on sight to pay when you order.

SENIOR TEAMS REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Tryouts for senior teams will be in early May. Registration will take place when selection has been made. Information on times and location of senior team tryouts will follow. Please watch the VU website for senior team update and information.
